I bought Xtractor 360 to flashing my Xbox 360 DVD-R    DG-16D2S FW: 74850C

I tested with both  SATA in my motherboard and   PCI Raid Sat VIA VT6421


I connect  the usb port in xtractor with my PC
and PC Power Connector to  pc power suply

when i try to flashing  the xbox 360
in  
XtractorReader_V27

can not be found the xbox 360 Dvd-drive

Does the Xtracor need   SPEAR to wirte the Dvd-drive

Xtractor alone can  hack the Dvd-drive without the Spear ?

change the port to the right port

the pics u have are showing u trying to read an ide port
the port u need is sata port 8c00

frm 8C00 to 80FF

are sure the drivers are installed ok?
also like i said the pics are showing u trying to read an ide port

try from port e400
and tick the master (port 0)

also u dont mention that u have the sata cable connected from drive to xtractor

I do not know if I have been installing the drivers wrong    


but I do not think I have something wrong in the drivers list  Look at the picture

saqr what drive is it? Lite-on, samsung, benQ etc?
Second is the drive powered on etc, does it eject etc?
Third which port on the via card are you using? the one on the outside (back of pc) or the one inside the pc on the card?

You don't need to worry about the spear. First need to see a drive in XtractorReader_V27!

you must have a driver conflict of some kind.  Reinstall port i/o 32

1- My xbox 360 drive is  
         Philips & Lite-on
Model   :  DG-16D2S
FW ver : 74850C
HW ver : A0A1


2- Yes, when i connect with  xtractor it works when i eject it

3- i use  port on the  VIA VT6421 card  inside the pc
befor i was flashed samsung, phlips, and Hitashi

I found in google and installd it  and then  works XtractorReader_V27

Ok it all looks good saqr. But I never saw the part about you using the USB port on the xtractor.

Did you install the drivers that maximus said you must?

I'm glad I could help.  When you're modding, sometimes you forget some steps or the software doesn't install itself correctly. In your case it was the later.
I knew you had to reinstall it because I seen in your 2nd or 3rd post that you already had the winford engineering and portio32 drivers instaled.

My VIA VT6421  has three SATA ports one outside (back of pc)  and  two ports inside the pc
i tested with all ports

Until now XtractorReader_V27  does not detect any XBOX 360 DRIVES

What is the next step ? What should I do??

Drive needs to be HALF open, not fully open!

Also, it has nothing to do with the xtractor, since the COM port is showing correct. It has to do with the SATA that won't recognise the lite-on.

saqr how come you have both usb and serial cable connected in the picture?

Don't use the USB. Use the serial cable and the com port! Then restart you machine with everything already connected.

Then open maximus reader. Scan for all drives etc....

Then eject the drive, disconnect power to CK3, push drive half way in, power on CK3 kit and try read the key.
