think you will be better off buying a via card as i think  it will not work with you're chipset

if you have a chipset or via card that is known to work then it must be because its not fully erased
what status does l-o-eras give

after typing l-o-eras 50 times in a row and still not working still getting status ff51 its got to be the sata card if someone does now anything please say!

try erasing your drive using dosflash. Type:

CODE

dosflash

select your device. Then type:

CODE

lite-on e

--dosflash should give you the option for typing something similiar to that. I'm not sure if there is a hyphen or not

just try l0o erase a few times like 3 or 4 times then power off the drive wait 5 seconds and turn it on again then use l-o-erase 2 or 3 mor times that should do the trick
if not  just keep doing the same process always remember to powercycle the drive (on and off) after a few retries

then probally it isn't going to work with you're chipset.
i suggest you buy a via pci card something like a csatacombo that's known to work.
where are you from?

this is the problem when i type dos flash it says no devices are found? im using a via 6421 card,iv tryed l-o-eras always ffdf power cycled after 5 atempts and kept trying for a hour still always ffdf? i think its bricked

after days of trying im sure the drive is dead,windows jungle flasher wont detect it,dosflash 32 wont detect,dosflash in dos wont detect or even send intro,iv got the key so will have to buy a new drive and spoof to it,it seems the drive is not getting power?
