Great Work, Respect for Team Jungle!!

But i've a question about flashing a LiteOn.
If i flash in Windows and it freezes, is my drive bricked after freezing?
Or can i just try to flash it again in Dos?

Can flash to write?

Yes, you probably used toolbox to insert key before.

No need for OFW, drive is locked once written.

Just a quick question. (And probably a silly one!)

I've just downloaded it from xbins  tongue.gif

Is there any difference between the firmware files in the Dos folder and the ones in the root folder?

Thanks Team Jungle!!

According to MD5 Check, they are completely same.

Updated my Benq drive, all working great. Dosflash works with absolute ease, never been able to use any of the Windows tools though, they freeze of don't pick up the drive correctly, not a major hassle though - I'm a command line kinda guy.

Have no clue where to begin when updating my BenQ. I've done it once and I used iPrep back then, seems like it's not working like it used to? Could anyone write up a brief tutorial how to flash a BenQ drive now ( With VIA Sata Card )

This isn't working for me. I type 'dosflash', and then it tries to find which port it's on. Port 2 has MTK Vendor Intro failed on Port 0xb400. 0xb400 is what I used in Windows to get the key, so I'm fairly positive that's the correct port.

After selecting 2, it asks me what I want to do. I pick "W" and it then says "Unknown flash chip!"

What am I doing wrong now?

Power cycle the drive, then run dosflash again. Worked for me.

Team Jungle, great work!

No good.  I just tried to erase my firmware computer froze on me.  After reboot liteon drive will not respond.  I think its bricked.  I was using a via chipset.  I hope you guys can help me out.

I have similar problem.Ive used the option liteone erase and then it start doing something but after my computer froze so i think flash chip its not erased in full.windows doesnt boot when drive its connected. If i try hot plug on already booted winxp computer froze so i cannot erase again.dosflash is tying to do something but my drive doesnt want to give status 0x72 probably because its not erased in full(tried many times with power cycle).
command l-o-eras xxxx in dos doesnt do nothing(always status f80)
Any solution??Mayby somebody can make some kind of program to erase flash under dos or any other good solution for that.I hate windows wrrrr.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)
