Hi guys, I have a little question
I already have a liteon's KEY.bin,INQUIRY.bin and IDENTIFY.bin but i don't have a dummy.bin
Do i have to repeat the procedure or there is a way to insert my key in hacked firmware without dummy??

Thanks and marry christmas

Before i attempt the flashing of my lite on, can someone just confirm that my key.bin, enquiry.bin and identify.bin should only be 1k in size.   When i retreived these files the key looked legit and everything went smoothly.  Thanks in advance.

No, when you load KEY.bin,INQUIRY.bin and IDENTIFY.bin in jungle flasher, window will popup and ask where to save dummy.bin

I am on step #6 of the Lite-On flash tutorial, and whenever I select my key\inquiry\identify .bin files, jungleflasher says "Can't Open file <path>"

It even says that when I try to load the ixtreme firmware with "Open Target Firmware"

What am I missing? I'm on Vista32.

Edit: I've also tried to use FIRMTOOL, but it's asking for orig.bin to be 256k in size, when I don't have that (I have the 3, 1KB files that a Lite-On should have).

So I'm still stuck (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Question: For iXtreme 1.4 users, are the added benefits for iXtreme 1.5 significant for an upgrade?

Is there anything glaringly bad in the 1.4 firmware compared to the 1.5 firmware in terms of the C/R timings?

put the 3 bin files in the same folder as jungleflasher is located

i just tried and it worked

also move ix15 into same folder as well

I finally got it.  This is for anyone that is haveing problems with windows.  You need to use dosflash.  If you already erased your Lite on drive in windows with JungleFlasher .26 BETA and windows freezes on you you are ok.  Just finish with dosflash.  Create a bootable usb drive with the link  http://www.bay-wolf.com/usbmemstick.htm.  After you finished copy over your hacked firmware and boot into dos.  Run dosflash and select your port.  Then select write and hacked.bin  I hope this helps anyone that is haveing problems.  If you have any ?'s just pm me.

Thanks TEAM JUNGLE and C4eva. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
