Hello,

Can anyone tell me how to open the tray of a lite on with a paperclip.
It does not react to the button of the ck.

ran into a bit of trouble flashing my first lite-on,
i managed to erase the chip and then proceeded to flash in windows using jungle flasher,
it wrote to it but failed when trying to verify the write,

I then managed to erase the chip again then flashed in dos using dosflash, but was getting error 65 on the xbox,
i can not get the drive to erase again as when i use junge flasher the computer freezes up and every 2 mins or so it works for about 5 seconds any ideas?

i try to use l-0-erase but it returns a FF80 status any help would be appreaciated

i flashed my sammy ms25 with 1.5 and spoofed the 1.5 ms28 as a ms25
ive heard a rumor that u shouldnt try spoofing the 1.5 and just leave it as ms28.
does anyone know if this is true?

when I try to install Portio32.exe after doing the Vista Portio32.inf install I still get an error box to pop up saying file not found c:\windows\yehal.  Also if I just try to open jungleflasher i get an error from the .net

"unhandled exception has occurred in your application.  if you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit the application will close immediatley.

invalidargument=value of 0 is not falid for selectedindex

Hey Guys,

I have a BenQ iXtreme 1.41 drive. All across the forums I'm finding a lot of information, instructions & tutorials regarding the LiteOn drive, but none for the BenQ. Is there any PDF or other set of instructions to use the JungleFlasher GUI (through Windows) to flash BenQ?

Thanks!

I also am getting very lost. I had no problem flashing my Hitachi about a year back and now am dumbfounded with my virgin Benq. I got a 'done' message when I ran JungleFlasher and hit Unlock Benq on the MTK Flash 32 page. When I went to the DVDKey32 tab and hit Get Key it just hangs until my 360 shut off (i'm not sure why, seems like a time out).

All the tutorials for the JungleFlasher are Liteon oriented (and with due cause since they finally have a solution!) but am confused here. I'd use the iPrep method but the new 1.5 is kicking back an error saying it's an invalid firmware. I may be missing an updated tutorial so please point me in that direction if my above responses are redundant.

Thanks!

I'll try this shortly, I don't need to dump any keys or anything?

Thanks for the reply!

key/inquiry/identify is lite-on only, all others just use one file for the firmware.

But, do you know if those drivers (Via Drivers 5.30c ‐ http://www.viaarena....raid_v530c.zip) work good with lite-on too? Or should we switch between installing and unninstalling drivers since we have a sam/benq/hitachi or liteon?

thanks smile.gif nice tut wink.gif
