Well I finally got it to recognize the drive but now as soon as I push the Key Read button my computer reboots...

Well I managed to use a friends computer as nobody has an answer to mine rebooting. Now When I try to read the key I get the bc=0 Error. I've restarted the drive and program 20 times but still the same error.

Is it possible that my Key Reader has been defective from the start?

Since the new version of jungleflasher came out, i'd stay away from 360-extractor-reader if i were you.

Both JungleFlasher and DVDKey32 won't see the drive, but I finally managed to get Xtractor Reader to read and it will give me the 3 files but then I'm missing the Dummy.bin

Why?!?   Why did you bother saying that?
What details could you possibly post that we don't already have?

Hi, have you tried dvdkey32?

Glad you got it working.  don't worry about the dummy.bin file because you can generate it:

http://www.tiaowiki...._drive_firmware

If I were you, I'd try to read the files again using dvdkey32, just to be on the safe side.  Once you erase your liteon, there is no going back!

I ended up switching to a 3rd PC where Jungleflahser finally worked fine, did the whole process from there, took like 5 Minutes.

Hi guys, I know everyone is tired of all the questions and reading the post, but I just have one quick question.
I plan on buying the DYI Xbox 360 Connectivity Kit V2.  My motherboard currently has an onboard SIS SATA controller and a serial port.

My question is, will the onboard SIS SATA controller work or do I have to buy the VIA PCI SATA Controller?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you have a liteon, it should work.  Liteon is not picky on the SATA card.  You just need the extractor kit from diygadget.com.  There is a coupon available, 15% off, use coupon code DIYGADGET when check out.

Its a great cheaper solution, but I think yaywoop's probe is still a cheaper solution.  I admit, I do use it with a connectivity kit, but I have had those for over a year and I can't justify paying CK3 or DIY for something I can make myself.  Bottom line is, it's only a matter of time before their attempts to stop us get thwarted by this communities efforts.

For those of you who do not have a serial port on the back of your pc, check the manual and the specs.  Some boards still have a header for a serial port on the board.

If you already have a CK1, CK2 you do NOT need to buy it again.  That is why we have the addon.  All you need to do is clip the alligator to any 5V or 3.3V power from your PC then use the hold and press the probe on the pad.

Thanks

It should work w/o any problem.  BTW, you can use coupon xbox-scene to get 15% off.
