Can someone tell me where the best place to grab +5V or 3.3V from when you don't have the addon power kit. Can i just strip the red wire from a molex cable inside my PC and attach the aligator clip there? What about cutting the end from a USB cable or is USB 2V or less?

Yes, I mentioned this in an earlier post to this thread. Just strip a little insulation from a red wire going to a Molex connector and clamp on. Works perfectly.

does anyone have any tips on getting the key for lite-ons?  im doing my 3rd one now but it seems like theres a SPECIAL place the alligator clip wants to be to read the key takes my like 50 tried to successfully get a key.
