Problems Flashing My Benq Drive

Hello,

I'm trying to flash my benq drive running into bit of a problem.

First off i have HP D530 desktop pc with on board SATA controller.. pretty sure it's intel chipset.

I ran iprep said it was dosflash compatible. selected firmware and formatted and put it on USB drive.

turned off computer unhooked Hard drive and cd rom hooked in benq drive turned on computer booted pc typed in dben xxxxxxx xxxxx

said make sure xbox is off (and it was)

hit enter

Typed in "y" and hit enter again

said drive status 0X73 turned it on waited 2 seconds nothing happend .. turned off after 10 sec or so nothing happended..

so what am i doing wrong?? why wont it reconize the drive

do i have to solder in a switch ??

Why is using dos16 harder than using dos32?? I only use dos16 and I've flashed many a 360's. You haven't said what your using to boot dos? USBpen, NTFS4dos or floppy? Try using floppy for benq. I always us floppy for benq and it works.

edit: Oh you said you used usb. Try a floppy.
