Benq Flashing
« on: November 28, 2008, 05:35:00 AM »

ive been away from the scene awhile and was thinking of buying an arcade 360 and modding it. is there a complete software based flashing for the benq drive or does it require cutting the traces still? i dont wanna get one if it cant be modded. is there any other drive i could get in an arcade that isnt moddable? thanks.

Almost any new Xbox 360 you buy now is going to have the unmoddable Liteon drive.  The only way to mod these new systems is to take the Liteon's key from it's serial port then put it on a drive that is hackable to use in your new 360.  Benq's have been moddable without physical alteration for a while now.  I suggest buying an older used system that still has a drive that can be modded.  You'll save a lot of money and time.
