I have managed to break my 0800.bin modded MS25 (long story) and so picked up a new one off ebay.

I recall it being pretty easy to flash this thing back in the day and think I have all the same hardware I originally did it on (namely Via 6421L SATA card), however this time can't get it to work.  I honestly don't remember much about doing it before besides downloading a ton of stuff and tinkering around until finally it worked so my memory is not much use to me on this go.

I am having a Drive not found error with MTKFLASH and can't seem to get around it... I checked all the guides and tried what they said however my msinfo seems broken and doesn't show any devices so I can't try hex editing mtkflash.

I have the old xtream boot maker package as well as iprep.  I tried iprep (even though it doesn't support 0800.bin) just because it does seem to recognize my SATA card (shows the name on the main screen where you choose what firmware you are using) figuring it would edit mtkflash.  Well the mtkflash on that disk doesn't work either...

I am at a loss..
