I think using the wire trick has damaged the motherboard I think pin 0 and 9 are ground and tray
but i think you have used pin 1,0,8 I think you have put a 5 volt supply on a pin and dammaged the controller chip on motherboard
if you could find out what chip it was you could replace it with one of a scrap motherboard
provided it was ok
expensive mistake in future to get into mode b use the slax cd or mode b prog  or from hitachi ver 59 and below use connectivity kit

.......im not sure how or why i said that same thing twice lol but ne way thank u all for all your help...

heres what im hoping to do, let me know if yall think it will work or not...

ill revert both sammys back to original firmware as if they are brand new rght out the packaging and resale them on ebay for iono like 20-30 bucks each

then i will find an arcade system (no hard drive and smaller processor) and i will put my elite CPU in that arcade motherboard flash the arcades dvd drive and hopfully have a fully working system...

i only payed 150 for this elite on ebay

and i have found an arcade that i can hopfully get for under 100...

please let me know what yall think of this

will it work?

how risky is it?

ne possiblities of messing up ne thing else?

what precations should i take in this swap?

thank u all again no one has answered me on the other 4 forums iv posted this on tongue.gif
