well I'm trying to flash my xbox360 and have tried alot now. But I kinda know where the problem is.
So to make a lond story short. I already have my orig.bin. but for some reasin i can't make a proper hacked firmware with my key.

I dowloaded Benq iXtreme v1.41 put orig.bin in the 8x map run the program 'Make iXtreme firmware' which then makes a file but also says something in Dutch wich would translate to 'Can not initiate program'. The file which had been made will not work, I tried and when reading discs it gives the 'insert a xbox360 game' error or something like that.

Now i tried to hex edit it and my xbox gave one red light en E65 (i think)

So now I'm back to my original firmware and everthing works like it would normaly do.

i'd like some help on making the hacked firmware.

when you put your orig.bin into benq 1.41 and run make xtreme firmware you will get ix14-8x.bin
are you sure your bin file is called orig.bin open up your orig.bin in firmware toolbox see if it is ok

Also the output file will be called ix14.bin.

yeah everything you people said was fine.

But i just used toolbox and it worked. firmtool just didn't do the trick for me.
