Hi all,

Just a quick question wondering why for flashing the samsung drives, the programs recommend VIA SATA chipsets only ?? Is it something specific that these chipsets offer or is it just due to the known 'PCI Config Registers ?' Surely if programs like MKFLASH.exe are just using ATAPI commands then most chipsets that support ATAPI should be acceptable, or is there more too it than I can see (probably  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) )?
