Well to start off I have flashed a few benq drives before on this same setup . I'm using a via 6421 card and have no problems with any other drives. I tried dosflash 1.3, 1.4, 1.6 all with the same results.
I read the drive fine with 1.6 and thought everything was fine ,so I made the new firmware and proceeded to erase and it went fine then I try to flash the drive and it was stuck on 0x80 and wouldn't change. Tried a few times with the same results. So I tried different dosflash versions and same results.Now when I try to flash read or write it just either gets stuck on :
erasing ...
Or
writing bank 0 ...
I can't get it to do anything besides that. Tried different dosflash, via drivers variations all the same results. Drive also comes up as mcronix/Mxxxx or something but I think its because it has no firmware on the drive.
I also tried another benq with no firmware same results.
Any help is very appreciated xbox has no flash and I cant play anything...
