Benq Drive Makes Clicking Seeking Sound When Reading Backups. How To

I am not sure if I have the benq slow or fast firmware and do not know how to check.  Does anybody know how to fix this problem?  Would flashing the firmware to slow fix ir, or perhaps something is loose in the drive?  Or is this problem not fixable.  The clicking noise while it is seeking and reading a backup is very loud and noticeable.  Thanks.
