Prob With Hddriver

Im getting an error called  

the ordinal 5078 couldnot be located in the dynamic link library MFC42D.DLL

ive tried replacing the dll and it didnt work.

help please?

I am also getting this error.  I have also tried to register the dll's with regsvr32 with no luck.  I have WinXP  with SP1 and I've even reinstalled .NET runtime and VB6 runtime with no luck.  If there are no suggestions as to how to fix this, is there an alternative program we can try instead of the HDD driver?


Well, I was a bit hasty, there are some other programs in the tools section of this site, but I'm guessing my HD is still locked becasue I still cant access it. :(

Everwhere I look thier is no slution to this problem its seems that hdd_driver eather works for you or not ....

so far I tryed dl the dlls, udating them, dowloding .net, working off of 3 differnt systems, and since thier no other soft I am stuck at a bypass ><

any sugestions anybody ?

I am having the same problem.  What other software is available to make xbox hard drive images with?  I have this beautiful 120 gb hard drive that is just itching to get into my softmodded xbox but, alas, i can't make a disc imagine of my original xbox HD.

hey, i downloaded the dll's and it still didn't work.  i ended up running knoppix (linux) and just copying the xbox drive sector by sector to the new hd.  it worked like a charm.

best way is to install vstudio 6 so you have the original vstudio files
