Dump your BenQ firmware. Open the firmware file up in FWtoolbox and copy your key, make sure it is valid not a bunch of 0's or F's. Now open up some stock Samsung firmware in FWtoolbox (can be found in the usual places or dump the fw thats on the Sammy drive you purchased, but make sure it is not altered)paste your key in the key box and click 'replace key' select 'ok'.
Now go to tools and select spoof drive and choose the model you are trying to spoof as(if you currently have a BenQ vad6038 rom 63930c then you pick that as your spoof for your Samsung) Click 'apply spoof' and when it is completes you can flash this file to your Samsung drive.

You didn't mention if you're intending on using iXtreme 1.4. If you are then you would need to patch the file before you flash it to the new drive.

You need a program called FWtoolbox, which he said in the post above yours... Also I am thinking about doing this also... just because of the fact that the benq is just THAT much quieter than the samsung... From doing this can I get banned from XBL for firmware flashing or whatever their stupid policy is?

No
you don't use FW toolbox to dump BenQ firmware. You use DOS flash to dump and write to the BenQ. Please look at textbooks tutorial on how to dump and write to BenQ.

You can use FW toolbox to spoof but you should be using with Firmtool 1.2 if the spoof involves Samsung and BenQ.

The same question has been asked at least 4 times within the last month. I am confused as to why the moderators allow these questions here but move other more technical questions to the newb forum.
