2 Drives In 360
« on: September 16, 2008, 04:09:00 AM »

i was thinking a lot on doing the dump on the lite-on, and i would like to do this:

its possible to do a special switch, so i can have 2 drives in the console, so i can play backups offline and play originals online, i dont want to be banned from xbox live and if i use an spoofed lite-on the risk ara high, so do you think that could be possible?

(currently) you run %0 risk of being banned while using any hacked firmware on live with an original (or no game in the drive at all).

that said makes this pointless, just for fun if you want to continue with the project you will need a but load of switches (or one huge one) to switch all 7 wires of the sata and 11 (iirc) of the power cable from the internal to external drive, the most i have seen any one switch do is 4 lines (thats one big switch and there not cheap) so you would need 4 of those and another one that did 2 lines, there would be alot of detailed soldering involved and finding a good place to put the switches would be a problem.
