HI i got 360 Xtractor Tool and im trying the usb connection to read the liteon drive as the manual show i do not need soldering. Is it true because i tried it on 3 pc but all in vain the windows see the 360 Xtractor Tool  but dose not recognise the Litone drive. Is there a good tutorial or a video on utube? Thx for any help you might give a newbe.

YOU HAVE TO SOLDER TX AND RX POINTS NO MATTER WHAT TOOL/METHOD YOU USE

I got the 360 xtractor and got it to get the key and stuff.

When I spoof the firmware it says for the samsung ts-h943 m28 xtreme 1.4 firmware cannot determin fw type, if you are using hitachi crypted firmware, please de-crypt it with fw toolbox before using it.

How can a spoof the samsung m28 with xtreme 1.4 using the 360 xtractor tool 10b?

I have just lost my solder rx points with some very clumsy soldering (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) needed a smaller solderiing tip but just could not wait (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Below it says rx is not 100% needed, anyone know if this is true?

Technically just 1 line is required (the TX line) but it is
good idea to have both of them bridged just in case. The Key reading will work just fine if you
just bridge the TX line.

Just finished flashing a benq drive with the 360 Xtractor...
Thanks maximus for an Excellent tool..

Dumping the liteon key was simple, but spoofing it using the Xtractor Reader(b10)
did not work...So i used Toolbox v4.8 instead and work perfectly.

Does anyone know if spoofing the firmware with toolbox v4.8 safe for live.. as it does not
ask for the identify.bin like the Xtractor Reader (b10)

yes it is safe but I would go back to the option to spoof and redo it.  their is an option that says "Custom" when you click spoof it then will ask you for the inquiry.bin" and from what I understand this is what you would need to do.

Thats what i did...But i have 3 bins one is identify.bin,inquiry.bin,key.bin.

with toolbox i only had to inject the key.bin and the inquiry.bin what about the
identify.bin is there a way to inject that bin or is it not required.

can someone tell me what the proper cable to use is for xtractor 360:
straight through db9 cable or null modem cable?
i cant find any info anywhere stating one or the other

So Xtractor Reader's firmware creator doesn't work at all?  Do you get an error when you try to create the firmware?  Or did you flash your drive with it and it doesn't read game discs?  Does anyone else have issues using Xtractor Reader's firmware creator?

Hei guys i need help i soldered the 2 points and ok checked with meter. but i cannot recognise the drive in windows xp. I do the tray trick , legacy mode in bios , connect sata cable and usb start windows and windows saw the xtractor but not the Liteon drive. any tutorial on utube? What am i doing wrong?

My Xtractor's eject function is not working anymore. I've only used the thing 3 times! Has anyone had a similar issue? Very upset since I now have to use the Xbox to eject the drive. Defeats the purpose of this tool.
