Hey there,

Having a little problem with a drive i flashed, it has iXtreme 1.4.

I flashed the drive and all looked to be great, it played around 4 backup just testing if they loaded and they did. However the next day i try to play copy of alone in the dark, i was not connected to xbox live or even had the network cable plugged in and it asked to update? so i clicked yes and it restarted then booted and played. So i gave it to my friend who took it home and it never worked, he says it gives him the "to play this disk put it in an xbox console" origonals work fine and also DVDs work fine but i dont know were this probem is?

Could it be the laser? if so i have no clue how to fix that.
Is it a bad flash?

To flash it... i had this guide. put the drive into mode b, then booted windows, everything was ok so i ran the FLASHIX.BAT and not a problem.

please someone help! i am happy to donate to anyone who can help
