Dump Cpu Key - Inject Into Another?

Basically what the title says.
I want to dump the cpu key from one 360, and inject it into another.
I don't go on xbox live, & was curious if this was at all possible.

You mean the Drive key? You want to replace a DVD drive with different/working one?

Negative ghost rider. My dvd key is long gone, I effed that one up awhile ago. Instead I want to take the cpu key from my working 360 and inject it into my broken one.

What will injecting the CPU key into your broken one accomplish?

I was under the impression [obviously I was wrong] that with a working cpu key, you can fix [recover etc.] your dvd drive.
