Fcc Cable And Connector - How Do I Attach Them Together?

I would like to remove the HItachi 79FK mobo from the drive but there appears to be 2 FCC connectors attached.  Do i simply tug on the white part of the wire to dislodge it from the connector?  

And how do i connect the 79 passkey FCC cable to its own provided connector -- do i jam the blue portion into the back end and it locks in?
