Swap Benq Drive With Ts-h943
« on: July 06, 2008, 09:45:00 PM »

Sorry if this has been asked before already. I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to flashing and stuff since I have a friend who does it for me. Now I once had an xbox 360 with a toshiba samsung drive that worked fine, but my xbox 360 just died like a month ago and we had to get a new one. So this new 360 is a falcon unit with a benq drive. We got it flashed and all and the problem starts with a few games like gta4 having really bad load times and streaming issues. Other games I have like dark sector come up with a dirty disc error now.

I've been reading forums and stuff around the net and saw that this was pretty normal with benq drives. I was wondering if it were possible to swap the drive for my old toshiba samsung one since that one didn't have any of these problems.

Yes, just use the orig.bin extracted from your Hitachi drive.
