Ixtreme 1.4 Hitachi (2 Versions?)

Hello

I downloaded the C4E iXtreme Hitachi-LG v1.4 from this website:

The rar contains 4 folders:

2x
5x
8x
12x

That seemed fishy to me because in a few tutorials the rar contained only one folder.
So I used Zero's xbin downloader to get the firmware. That one had one folder just like the tutorials.
My question is, what's with Eurasia's download containing 4 folders? They seem like different drive speeds or something.
I used DoubleKiller to see if Eurasia's download had the same files as the one I got from xbin. There were no identical files.


A couple more questions while I'm here. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)  My Hitachi drive is the 59 version. I should use Maximus Firware Toolbox 4.6 to flash it or is there a better option.
I read in Textbook's tutorial that the Hitachi v59 "can be flashed with basically all SATA chipsets.  It should work as long as the SATA supports ATAPI devices"

My motherboards chipdset should work right?

VIA PT800CE Northbridge chipset
VIA 8237 Southbridge chipset
