Grim187...I bought the via chipset that was required to flashed the ms25 and 28 I think.  Can I ask you a question? With the haitachi drives...besides the 79 I think.....can you just used the slacks boot disc to flashed it?  I know that you have to solder one of the kinds of hatitach drives?   Which haitaci drives don't you need to do anything extra or have any extra equipment to flashed?
Grim187...my flashed samsung ms25 over heated or something I think. I played dead rising for like 8 hours straight and then 8 hours straight the next day. I get a black screen with no video...it's not the black screen of death though.   The system and everything boots fine..it just has no video.   I tired a new A/V cable and what not. I don't know what else to do with it. I was think of swaping the ms25 drive into a haitachi motherboard beside I am afraid of flashing haitachi drives.

what you described IS the black screen of death. try the x-clamp replacment, it should fix it right up and then you can avoid all this

Can I buy all the parts for the X-clamp replacement at Home Depot? Can someone give me the *exact* list of all the things I need?

Antman1..I also got another question for you....it isn't a good idea to swap a ms25 drive into a v79 motherboard right? because you have to solder the v79 and get a key for that drive right? Couldn't I just swap my ms25 drive into a v79 without having to flashed the v79 drive?.... that way..I wouldn't have to worry about the soldering thing and the get-key-for-drive- thing.

m25 drive would have the wrong key and would not be spoofed.  it would act as a DVD Player only and would not play games.  I am not sure on a parts list for x-clamp there is a parts list somewere on here for x-clamp fix though for lowes with part numbers.

I'm confused here. Why would you want to put your flashed sammy into a new system? If your going to do that, then you need to get the key off of the new drive first. If you can do that, then why not just flash the new drive itself? There would be no need to spoof and the laser is probably in better shape than your used one. If you get a drive like a 79fk, then you need the passkey for that drive, but i dont think they are producing those drives anymore.

Ok..guys...I found those parts I needed at Home Depot like I was told...but I can't find the thermo compound or what ever that solution is that you are suppose to put on the CPU during the X-clamp replacement.   Am I suppose to order that from llama.com or can I use a different solution? Will the X-clamp replacement fix  the black-screen-no-video error?

Hey guys..I am seriously ordering the llama repair kit...going to send my money order today...but will the X-clamp replacement really fix the "no-video-on-tv" error?   My 360 doesn't have the three red rings of death...it just gives you a black screen..not the black screen of death though....it just gives a black screen with static going across.    THIS X-CLAMP SH*T BETTER FU*KING WORK!!!!!!!

Be very careful with the xclamp install. Make sure to use all the washers provided, get some good thermal paste and cleaner and apply is properly. Do not over tighten the clamps.

GOT THE FU*KER WORKING AGAIN! I can't belive I am saying this...but this sh*t actually works!   Here is a note for people during the x-clamp sh*t with the llamma kit!  it took me 12 hours to figure this work! When using the skews..you have to put 3 steel ones plus a nyon on the button..and then a nyon follow by a steel on the top! No guide said this to me so it took 12 fu*king hours for me to get this sh*t working! but it work! FU*K YELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
