So I don't have to solder or buy extra Via 6241 card or what it was called (forgot)

Thank you so much for you fast answer, I'm sorry to ask a irritating question but I just want to be sure,

is there a newbie guide showing how to flash? Im really afraid, i have two sata ports, does it matter which one i connect

sorry for my bad english
would be very thankful if you give me a guide how to flash, i cant find on google or in here, i can only find old guide where you have to solder

Well, that chipset will be fine to just plugin and go, you want to use port 1, but it really shouldnt matter, you will be given the option to choose when flashing.

Flashing the Benq drive isnt a walk in the park either, you will to follow this guide to make the flash readable/writable.

I would go with option 2, the first option is easier because the traces on the back side are huge.  But option one you can simply install a switch or just use wires and disconnect them when you need to flash again.

I originally did option 1, worked great, when I was done I put everything back the way it was and used my switch on for option 2.  Now I have the switch wired into my blaster 360 light switch  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

No more opening the xbox for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

What if my Fujitsu Siemens motherboard MSI MS-7293 with VIA VT8237A chipset isn't compatible, will I destroy my Xbox 360 then?

i think you missunderstood me, I will not solder, I asked if i can just plug in the sata and begin flash xbox 360 directly with the chipset VIA VT8237 like VIA VT6421A,

so did i missunderstood everything or do i have to modificate or solder?
