Hitachi 47dj - How To Make A Backup Of The Firmware.
« on: April 26, 2008, 08:59:00 PM »

I need some help,

How do you backup the original firmware first for the Hitachi 47dj?

(I'm not too confident with the automation process of the iXtreme V1.4)

As this is the very first time I've tried this drive model, (Always have done BenQ's and Samsung MS-25 and 28)

Anyone shed light on how to do this, the iXtreme has several programs in this rar, Memdump and the like)

Can anyone point out how to manually backup the orig.bin first if possible, as I want to be 100% sure I have the drive key and such.

Please help me out there, cheers.

Maybe you should search the forums first, there are a million and one posts on this.

Use Maximus Firmware Toolbox (latest is 4.6)

That program is very easy to use, has a user interface, and you can't go far wrong. Try looking at the Xbox 360 Hacking Guide for n00bs. Its a good reference point.

Good luck.
