ok so i have a hitachi 47dj

it has been flashed with ixtreme 1.4 12x. not sure what the 12x means, but i did it. i have been having problems with my backups, burning them to hp dvds. i figured it was the media, so i bought some verbatims made in singapore

however, i still have the same problems! both my dark sector and my army of two backups come up with "unplayable disc".

i did my iso's through xdvdmulleter, and am sure that it is ixtreme compatible.

i am using a pioneer 215 sata interface burner. \

perhaps it is the booktype? i thought that pioneers didnt need this though. i am so mad, and am sick of wasting my verbatims!

please help!!!!

How are you making your backups?

You are burning them to DVD+DL disks right?

lol ya im using verbatim dvd+r dl's from singapore. i have made three backups now, and all make this wierd sound when spinning, and give the unreadable disc error

i am using imgburn with a pioneer 215D DL burner

What I am asking is what drive did you use to make the iso from the retail disk. If it was a Kreon drive what firmware did it have. Or did you use a 0800 flashed Samsung or BenQ?.

It sounds to me that your backups may not be correct.

i am using the same drive i am using to bur.

i am using a pioneer 215 through wxripper. because i get crc errors when ripping, i have to dummy the third line. maybe that has something to do with it. when i put the ss, dmi, and pfi files in through dvdmulleter and have it correct the video and padding things, all things are checked including xtreme compatoble.

That is your problem.

You need to use a Kreon flashed PC drive or a 0800 flashed 360 Samsung or BenQ.

well obviously using wxripper is possible or it wouldnt be out there. right?

well xdvdmulleter checks the game data and says its fine. im so confused!

Get a kreon drive and all should be ok. They are pretty cheap and they do a great job
