my freind in xbox scene is c4evas freind and he told me that yesterday they have finished dumping the fw
guys i want u all to join together and point the f finger to microsofts failed attemp to stop us from hacking
summels also said that u will need a vga cable and a cv3 :S

oh well at least its modifiable

i'm quite curious about it.. they could show us how are they doing it.. since the controller wont allow total memory access..

Well... since people can't be bothered to read earlier posts.....

The chip was dipped in acid, which revealed that the flash was attached to the chip and not directly embedded.

With the exposed flash, the idea was to pull the firmware off it but reading the flash directly with a flash reader, that was the last time a significant update has been posted by the team working on it.

ya, i read that too... but i'm wondering how dev is going.. i made the very same question on a newer topic but it was closed... i know they were trying to access directly to the lines between controller and memory, my understand about what was written on older posts is that they were going to try that, not that they already knew about that.. anymore details about it?

it depends on what irc client they are using, and the way it was configured. in my personal script, i have it do -[ username ]- and the username is color coded to show voice/op/etc. some people have the <> but have it not display the symbol.

i wouldn't say fake based off something minor like that.

no ...i meant the rules for that irc room(#fw) is don't ask for lite-on news or new 1.5 f/w:)
