Replace My Dvd With A Modded Dvd...

Hey all, this is probably a silly question, but I'm wondering if I take a dvd drive from my old xbox 360 that was modded to play burnt games, and put it into my new xbox 360, would it be able to play burnt games too? or will i just have to flash my new xbox.

The DVD key inside the firmware of the drive MUST match the console. Since swapping the drives will make the keys not match this will not work.

You will need to read the flash of your new consoles drive to get the drive key to do this. And if you are going to do that you may as well just mod the new drive and be done with it.
