Hi All,
I modded the firmware on my Hitachi drive a few years ago and it has been fine until the drive passed away. I bought an MS25 but dont know how to set it up with the drive code (which i have stored from last time). Please can someone help me with instructions on modding the MS25 drive and inserting the drive code into it.

Dump the MS25 firmware.
Insert your drive key from Hitachi into the firmware & spoof as original hitachi version using firmware toolbox.
flash the newly created firmware to your MS25.

Lots of tutorials/threads on this site for Samsung dumping/flashing. But if you want a definitive tutorial download Textbooks guide.
