More hassle than trying to get it to work with 64 bit? lol

From my limited PC knowledge I know many people didnt use 64bit as most programs are coded for 32bit OS as this is the common OS used on machines.

How are you using the Xecuter connectivity kit with the 78FK it's not compatible you have to power the drive from a different power source, otherwise when u reboot it looses Mode B. Did i misunderstand? I just flashed my first 78FK last night with no problems.

Connectivity kits work fine for powering 78's

As long as you use Slax for modeb and reboot the PC rather than power off/on it keeps modeb.

Alright god has something against me, I threw my old XP's HD in here so im running 32bit and its still giving me the error that there is no hitachi drive found. Yet it can be seen in windows and play disks.. BLAAHHH

So its showing in Windows, been assigned a drive letter, functions but cant be detected by toolbox 4.6?

Try 4.5?

no, it wasnt showing in the ixtreme 1.4 package running through the .bat but I just flashed it using toolbox. What a pain in my ass haha, just glad its over.

Did you miss the bit where it says only toolbox can flash 78's + software wise
