hey guys im trying to swap a Hitachi-LG gdr-3120L 0047DH dvd drive and it seems ot be dead,
does it have to be flashed if it isnt playing backups and just want it to play my proginals ?

the drive wil not funtion in the xbox and will only be picked up when the pc is booted, once in windows it dosent want to know, if the drive is dead is it still posible to get the info needed to swap for a new one
