Best Chipset For Benq
« on: February 16, 2008, 04:16:00 PM »

Hi, I was looking for the best possible PCI SATA chipset that I can buy. I found that the VIA VT 6421 is good for the samsung, but I don't know if it is a good chip set for the BenQ. I tried searching but I can't find a good source. What is the best PCI chipset that I can buy for BenQ?

I just bought this exact same sata board. I have heard that even if you buy an expansion SATA board and install it into an Intel MB that flashing may still NOT work. Can this be verified? In any case I will be trying my luck tonight with the new Sata Card in my Asus P5KE ICH9 system.

This works fine for me:

I use it without drivers. Software Dosflash 32 in XP.

So there will not be any problems with a VIA VT6421 card?

I'm thinking of buying one because my friends have samsung drives. and helping them to flash their drives.
So it works with benq also? That would be nice.

Cheers!
