Willem doesn't mention it any where on their site or anything like it....
It does mention this type

Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) EEPROM Mode0 (0,0)

It's very likely that it can... You could put in a request for them to add it

///sorry fo the double post, left it in edit mode over lunch

I though about this.. And here is the easiest way to do it....

1. Beg, borrow or steal a working Benq drive of the same rev( not sure if it needs to be same rev).
2. Read the firmware and save it.
3. Desolder the flash off the broken Benq - should be easy it's only an 8 pin SPI
4. Desolder the flash off the good Benq - should be easy it's only an 8 pin SPI
5. Solder the flash off the broken one onto the good one
6. Read the firmware off that flash
7. Viola you have a dump and the key..
8. No need to swap the SPI again just flash the good benq with it's original firmware...

yea true, a little to much work there lol, but if the guy had some kind of power problem and fried the drive, this wont help.

I had the sam idea at the time this thread was started, I did some googling and found nothing... Not saying its not do-able, but the SPI interface runs a lot quicker than an I2C that runs are 19800 bps...
