I've got all of my settings correct, but when I try to format my flash drive, I get an error saying the drive doesn't contain a recognized file system. I've tried reformatting the flash drive, and changing from fat32 over to ntfs, with no change in result. However, it seems the error only occurs when trying to make the flash drive bootable.  When just prepping the drive, there is no issue.

man some flash drives won't boot.
try a different usb flash

i would try with a floppy just to see what would happen.dont flash with a floppy unless you have to.
