Hey ,

I've been reding sticky topics for 2 hours ,but I still haven't found the answer .
I've got Samsung MS28 drive + Xtreme 5.2 firmware . I'd like to connect my x360 to xbox live .
As far as I know the latest software is iXtreme 1.4 . I'm just wondering if it is sense in reflashing the 360 to 1.4 ?

I heard that M$ checks burned games , not the fw itself. Don't know really if it's true . Anyway if I have just Xtreme 5.2 + game burned with checked Kreon's bug and this 2nd soft ( XDvdMull... something like that ) , how  big chances are to be banned ? Would my chances rise , if I reflashed my fw to 1.4 ?

If you want to go on Live you really need to upgrade. The version you have is not Steathed and will almost certainly be detected as it won't protect you from non-steathed backups.... You probably wnn't get banned straight away either as M$ ban in waves......


Version 1.4 is the recommended version to use.... Using backups on Live could very well get you banned even with the latest version.... the only ones who really know, are Miscrosoft.....

Podger ... this has nothing to do with this thread, but I was reading your Sig - quite interesting. But I think there is a language error there. I think the 4th point should be "write it down" and not "write is down".
