System Update To 360 Hdd?

I have downloaded the latest dashboard update via my PC as my 360 is banned.

There is no readme  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)  Anyone know where I need to copy the file to on my 360 HDD?

any help appreciated

*UPDATE*

I have put the $SystemUpdate folder on the root of Partition 3

and have copied the divx codec file to:
Partition 3\Content\0000000000000000\FFFE07DF\00000002

and the 360 still comes up with the codec error when trying to play divx.

 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

*update*

I tried copying the update and codec from my mates 360 hard drive (his has the update and codecs and his 360 plays divx fine with his hard drive in)
to my hard drive, then tried my hard drive in his already working 360 and it wont play divx - the usual msg occurs requesting to download the codec.

Wierd. Both hard drives hav the same system update folder and codec file in the correct dir structure.

Anyone else have this problem???

The dashboard doesn't include the Divx codec  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

People banned from xbox live cannot use the divx codec. The file is linked to the console that downloaded it.

can you not just download it from xbox.com burn the cd, and let it do it's thing?

Absolutely, however the DivX codec is NOT included as was mentioned above.
