I have been trying to get IPrep to format my usb thumb drive, but i keep getting an error:

I have been messing with this all night, and havent been able to find anything about this anywhere.

Try reformatting the usb stick through windows first.

I have tried that. I reformatted in fat32. Are some usb drives not compatible? it is a 5 gig.

I have used 512mb drives formatted with NTFS which have worked fine. Something leads me to believe it's your usb drive.
