I am trying to flash my Hitachi 79 FL's firmware with Maximus 360FW toolbox. I soldered a Passkey to it, it works, blue led lights, it's in mode b, found in winxp, no problems. I dumped the original firmware, I got the key now. When I enter the Smart Hack Patcher section in this toolkit, after pushing the button it says "not all variables were resolved".

I am using Winxp, VIA SATA 6421, latest version of toolkit ver. 4.6. I flashed many 360 drives before with this SATA card, no problem yet. This is my first Hitachi 79fl, and I couldn't solve this problem.

SOLVED THE PROBLEM


I CHANGED THE REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE OPTIONS IN CONTROL PANEL TO ENGLISH, NOW IT WORKS NO ERRORS!!!
