Help With Iprep
« on: December 29, 2007, 11:11:00 PM »

I damaged the master port on my VIA6421 card.  I can use the secondary port if I manually use dosflash.  However, I would like to use iPrep instead.  When I setup my USB drive it automatically uses the master port (9800 in my case).  I need a way to change that to 9400.  Is there any way to do this?

Hitachi's are not flashed using mtkflash, they are flashed from the iPrep GUI using the drive letter as a reference.

I think you might mean Firmware Toolbox as iPrep has nothing to do with flashing a Hitachi drive.

I am aware of that.  I am just wondering if Firmware Toolbox will pick up on the drive being connected to port 2 of the card.
