Samsung Flash Problem
« on: December 30, 2007, 01:22:00 AM »

Hey I have bee trying to flash my drive for about 8 hours now and im gettin frustrated. I followed all the steps from Burning Slax ISO to my disc. Getting the right files onto my flashdrive (I made my flashdrive MS-DOS bootable because I dont have a floppy drive) and I took apart my xbox 360. I have a Intel P35/G33 New Series Express Chipset Based, 5 SATA slots and a SATA DvD Drive and SATA HDD. So I took the sata cable out of my hard drive and put it into the 360s DvD drive. I then turned on the xbox and made sure AV cable was in, when I booted from CD rom I ended up with his error message at the end of the long list of words and commands that ended with "ata1: port failed to respond" anyone please help I have been at this for sooo long and I got nowhere (besides opening my 360)

The Slax CD is for flashing Hitachi drives, not Samsungs.  That is probably the problem .Here is a decent video tutorial.
