hi all..
i recently modded my ms28 and i have a weird problem..

the console can play originals fine but when i put backups i either get open tray or , unplayable disc...

this is with ixtrem 1.4 ...

i want to know if i should do a pot tweak or  try xtrem5.3FW...

any other solutions that u guys recommend ?

thats the firmware i would use.
you did not say how you are doing your backups.
the last thing i would try is messing with the laser

i have 2 other xbox 360  
one with ms25 xtreme 1.4
and ms25 xtreme 1.4

the backups work on them fin..

they are 100% stealth backups made with XBC 2.6 and SH-D162c Kreon 1.0 FW...

i dont know where to start...

i know there were a few fixes a while back with rubber band ect....
but is it worth it like for a long term fix...
