Bought One Of These Off Ebay...

I'm bored and want to try my hand at fixing some bricked Hitachi
GDR-3120L drives.

I found this:

USB EasyPro 90B Programmer

It says it supports the SST 39SF020A...

Anyone else used one of these??

Yes, it will work fine.  (You will need a TSOP32 to DIP32 adapter).

I do find it amusing that their sample screenshot of the software has a dump of all FFs (no data, at least at the start)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
