Benq Ix 1.4 8x (new Drive) Vs Samsung Ix 1.4 8x (old Drive)

I just noticed that my new Falcon 360's Benq running Ixtreme 1.4 at 8X Running COD4 Backup going by the level loading times is slower than an Old MS28 running Ixtreme 1.4 at 8X.

Backup Burnt at 2.4X

Why would this be?

Anyone else noticed this issue?

Yes i noticed this aswell. My Samsung MS28 is faster than my BenQ even if the MS28 is @ 8x and the BenQ is @ 12x

The samsung was still 1/3 quicker at loading games such as Mass Effect.
