Hitachi 78, Ixtreme 1.4 Help
« on: December 16, 2007, 11:36:00 PM »

Hello

I've got a Hitachi 0078 that up until yesterday had not been flashed yet.  I've got a bought Halo 3 that I've been playing offline without any issues.  Yesterday I flashed my Hitachi 78 with iXtreme v1.4 using Toolbox v4.6 at 8x and now I can't seem to play my bought Halo 3.  I either get a dirty disc error before even getting to the start menu, or it'll just stop working while loading the map.  The music stops and I just get the error saything the map couldn't be loaded by all parties.  After discovering this, I threw in a burned copy of Halo 3 and same issue.  I then started throwing in other burned games and some work flawlessly, while other come up with dirty disk errors.

Has anyone else flashed their Hitachi 78?  Anyone else having issues like mine?

Thanks

Does 1.3 exist?  Do you mean 1.2 Rev 2?  What toolbox version did you use?

I've a 78 on 1.4/8x and have had dirty disc errors, but with Assassin's Creed.

I'm pretty sure the reason for it is to do with the 360 getting too sweaty.

I opened the windows in the room it was in, and put the power brick onto a box for better cooling and the problem stopped. Feel your brick/the underside of your 360, is it getting hot?

Assassin's creed really seems to work the 360 which is why i got it on that, i imagine. If you have a fan try blowing cool air over it.
