Firstly apologies if this should not be in here. I thought it relevant but feel free to move..

Using Samsung, ixtreme v1.2c @ 4x

Got banned about 2 weeks ago with 2nd wave.. i checked the status code at the time and there was a 'Z' in there of that i am certain but did not take much noticed of the rest. I have attempted many times since then to logon and its always failed but applies my profile settings (backdrop etc) tonight i try and i was told that an update was required.. I declined it.  I thought it strange  that it would want to update me but not let me logon to Live. I went to test live connection, again it wanted me to update but i declined.. Again started thinking this was weird.. Dont know why or if relevant but i did this next. I created a new profile on my memory card (old profile was on HDD) and called it offline as thats what i was intending to use it for & for kids to use as well but then thought well im banned so what the hell and accepted the update which went fine but now...... i'm able to log into live with my old profile.. quite how and why i dont know but i am. Before i get flamed etc i just wanna say i'm IT techie of some 20yrs plus...

Any ideas how n what the hells going on here?

Had A Hitachi 47D Flashed It With Iextreme 1.3 The Restored Coz Of RoD Then Flashed With Iextreme 1.4 3 Days After Realese Then 24 Hours Later It Was Game Over. I Was Playin Rb6v Original Since I Flashed With 1.4... Checked All My Back-Ups And All Came Bk Clear

when you test your connection and you get an error you can view the status codes that consist of:

W:1234-1234
X:1234-1234
Y:1234-1234
Z:1234-1234

If the Z code is 8015-190D then your banned

heard everyone in my school talking about how they got banned from modding their 360. and i laughed. i guess i spoke too soon.  i came home today and tried to play a game online and what do you know.  it won't connect.  after hours trying to get online, i finally look up the codes that the 360 gave me to find out that im banned.  


thanks alot M$ for at least notifying me that i was banned!

I have a MS25 TS-H943.  I have used every version of Xtreme and iXtreme at one point.  I had updated to 1.4 8x (MS28 spoofed) about two or three days prior.  I was playing CoD 4 when it said that my emeny gave up, then I got disconnected from xblive, I have the unambiguous Z code.  I have used very crappy backups and been very uncareful, yet I only got hit this wave.  It was flashed with v1.0 Xtreme out-of-box.  I have played many recent games and many older games. I see no reason why, now that I am careful, that i got banned.  I think it might be spoofing, cause I was fine until last time (I have only spoofed one other time, stupid right, why did I spoof?)  I swear I have had this Z code before, yet I returned somehow.

B)had box since 05 + 52c since march 07 no other f/wares

C)cod4,medal ov honour ,transformers. bad on kreon checker
pgr4,tigerw08,halo3,ace 6,cb jericho,good on kreon checker
a few others not checked with kreon but all passed stealth on dvdmulletter

D)all with kreon v1.00 and xbc2.5,and 2.6 but only 1 or 2 have the split vids

Date Flashed - Oct. 30th 2007
Backups - Made with Keron
SS DMI PFI - All taken from 360patches
Backups - Around 15 but none on Live as I have no Gold
Originals - Around 5 (3) 360 XBOX (2) XBOX 1
Date of BAN - Dec. 15th 2007
All backups pass on Kreon checker. I bought this as it had a bad DVD drive and could fix it easily. Only cost me aorund $75 bucks total. Funny thing is my Samsung form launch, m28 flashed with Xtreme 4.2 hasn't been banned. It is in my bedroom and recives the most play. I'm guessing that it had something to do with the DVD-ROM was changed. As my non-iXtreme isn't banned. I have no way of flashing otherwise it would be updated but glad I didn't now.

Yea but he is looking for a stock FW to 1.4 i Xtreme because they can tell if you have upgraded the FW. Besides if a stock to directly iXtreme 1.4 means they have found new ways to detect backups on Live and these new updates were useless.

Maybe they are reading the drives checksum when it connects to live and registering that then if you change to another firmware they got ya !!

Thats what IM thinking, I just bought a NEW 360 Saturday but yet to turn it on, its modded as of a few hours ago but IM chillen to see if any BENQ drives have b een flagged, seems most are old school drives from reading everyones post.

i got banned about 8 days ago
my console is less than a year old had a hitachi 79? and was flashed with garyopa, hav'nt updated it since it was done in march, have always been careful to play only backups of games i own, have samsung 162d flashed with kreon 1.0. and how i came to be banned is this. about 2/3 days after the update my girlfiend was signed in on her profile on my console and played crash. when she finished we watched 30 days of night. then i booted the original of cod4 and the console remained in video mode and told me to put the disk in a 360. bear in mind it was an ORIGINAL. took out the disk and cleaned it as this had worked in the past the console remained in video mode till i signed out of my girlfriends profile i signed into my own and the game booted, but bam! disconnected from xbox live. and hav'nt been able to connect to it since on that console. i have played games pre release in the uk but have always been careful to actually OWN the game usually brought from playasia.com that do sell region free games before release in uk, and ship them before release. got a new console(arcade) and stuck my hdd on it but both the profiles on it had been fragged by ms. had to re download them and now i can use xbox live again. they are fragging your hdd too

Banned December 14th in the evening after having been on LIVE already that day...

Toshiba MS28, Xtreme 5.3? (used to make backups). Had been flash to 1.1 at one point, but put 5.3 back on to make backups. Been that way for a couple of months.

Backups played (NEVER connected to LIVE while playing) were all made by my MS28 Toshiba using Schtrom 3.x: Assassin's Creed, Halo 3, NFS Pro Street, PGR4, GH2

Played on LIVE (originals only): Halo 3, Orange Box

I connected Friday morning and downloaded the Burnout Paradise demo and Frontlines: Fuel of War demo. Played both. Played some Portal. Disconnected and played some GH2 and Assassin's Creed. Went to a friend's house later that night to play some Halo 3 online and I was banned. I had a friend banned earlier in the week who has a MS28 with iXtreme 1.1 or 1.2 and has only played Halo 3 (retail disc) for the past month or more (no backups).
