Hey guys -
Kickass forum you've got here. I'm incredibly impressed at the level of professionalism and hackitude you show each other.
I just got a 360 with a BenQ drive, and I'm looking to flash the drive for backups. There is so much information about doing this on the interweb that I've gotten incredibly confused.
Can someone give me the instructions on how to do this for the BenQ drive? I've got internal SATA - on a Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 motherboard - is that compatible? Should I be using Maximus' 360 Firmware Toolbox?
I'm just looking for the easiest way to do this... the GUI of the toolbox seems pretty good but I don't know the steps. I'm a hardware builder and I'm very comfortable cracking open my 360 and running the SATA cable and all that fun shit.
Please, for the love of Gears, help me sort through all this conflicting information so I can hack my drive and start playing backups.
Thanks guys.
Oh yeah, I'm a standup comic... maybe I can trade laughs for 360 tips. Heh.
