Just want to inform you that there might be another ban wave. Up untill an hour again I was playing Ace Combat on live, and now I'm banned. Updated to Ixtreme 1.4 when it got out. Had Ixtreme 1.3 before that, and 5.2 and 5.3 before that one. Escaped the previous 2 banhammers. Oh well, without disappointment, you can't appreciate victory.

I checked most of the games I play after the situation w/ the kreon rips got aware. Ace Combat is fine according to DVDmuelleter and Kreon Checker. Ace Combat is the only game I have played on live since updating to Ixtreme 1.4, and It was only today for less than 30 minutes.

Other games I played on 1.3 in the last couple of weeks are:

PES 08 - Fine - Basically all the time in the weekends since it got out
Fifa 08 - Fine - Every now and then
Assasins Creed - Fine - For quite some time
WSOP 2008 - Fine - Few times every other week

3 weeks ago or more

Mass Effect - Bad Rip - For maybe 3 hours when it got out
Call of duty - Bad Rip - For a couple of weeks
Halo 3 - Bad Rip - for about 2 week after it got released
Blacksite Area 51 - Bad - For about a week
Soldier of Fortune - Good -

Those are the games I played for the last 2 months or so.

What you ripped with kreon and shows ok to you, might no be ok for others, remember the whole jitter thing is somewhat random.

when you say bad rip thats according to Mulleter? in that case you were flagged a while ago.

yep , i think a new wave is in place. my close friend has just got banned about 5 hours ago. he had i think normal xtreme5.3. yes alot of his games were un stealthed.
about a couple of days ago i said to him "new ixtreme 1.4 coming out because of new bannings", he said "nah its alright , if we get banned , then we get banned ". he also said "we would have been banned by now". what do you know, 5 hours ago he calls me up "i think they got me".
i said "what do you mean " .  he says "i think i am banned " .
so after we checked the status codes in z: 8015 : ........ .i told him to do the network test and then go to nat more info . the message was more or less you have been banned from xbox live...

my advice is be very careful about the rips you get . check them and double check them . the last un stealth game he was playing was orange box. fu...ing microsoft

Its possible you were logged a while back and are only now being banned but its also possible they are still detecting something else either with the firmware or with the backups.. We will have to wait and see if anymore people are banned using 1.4 to find out what the problem may be..  still it sucks to be banned i know how it feels

With iXtreme 1.4, isn't the jitter issue supposedly resolved, so it wouldn't matter? I'm speculating this may have occurred prior to your 1.4 sessions with accumulated evidence to suggest you did run backups.

ive got about 50 backups all made  by myself with a kreon drive, ive chekced them all through kreon checker and all apart from 1 (fuzion frenzy 2) showed up as good. I updated to 1.4 as soon as i could and before this i was running 1.2 then 1.3 and all is good (so far lol)

really hope ms cant detect the firmware though

was it ripped using a kreon? if so how does it show up in kreon checker and mulleter?

Yes i just got banned too! It happen around 7:00 pm central time, the only two games i know i play and were bad rips are Mass Effect and Orange Box. DVDmuelleter said the games were okay so i played them u know before i knew about the Kreon Checker. So when i test them using Kreon (Dam) too late! they were bad kreon rips and already played. Wish Kreon Checker was built in to DVDmuelleter when it does a check but oh well looks like the ban is back on again! banned one was  a m28 with iXtreme 1.3. Still got a m25 with iXtreme 1.3 and it is still online maybe because i didn't play the bad rips games in that one.
Guess i'll trade with a friend of mine that doesn't go online.

Lol, I got way too complacent, my 2nd box had been on live for ages running the old 5.3 firmware, banned last night UK time about 9pm.

Luckily I have a pure box also, Friend has already offered cash for my banned box so off to Gamestation tomorrow to get yet another one to mod

Could it be that microsoft is just banning the leftovers from the 1st ban wave? I mean,  i have played those 'bad' rips too and i am (still) not banned.

It may come and i wont cry if it does but the number of bans during the 2nd (and now this one) seems to be pretty low.
