i have a hitachi 47 drive and my burnt discs are my region and booktyped to dvd-rom. i checked the discs with dvd identifier and there are dvd-rom. I don't know y my 360 wont play them. It says it is a unplayable disc. i have a pioneer 112d which auto booktypes. I think i might have screwed up my xbox 360 hitachi firmware by restoring it back to normal with a different firmware restorer. In other words i downloaded to different hacked firmwares and used one and then restored it with the restore that was with the firmware i didnt use. The firmwares i used were C4EVA_iXTRM-HITACHI_v1_2_Stealth AND
Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_2_Stealth.

Is there a place where i can get the original hitachi 47 firmware not hacked?

If there is anything else that could help please let me know.

do your originals still work??? if so atleast your drive isn't bricked I don't think the restore is the problem because the firmware you used 2.2 can restore the drive even if you didn't flash with that fw.
please post more info like if any other backups work or if originals work

Originals work fine but when i put a burnt disc in it makes weird clicking noises and says Unplayable Disc.
im almost positive i flashed it right.
My computer found my drive( letter G) so i did the whole CMD stuff flashix G 1337

it says everything was fine

Sounds like the backups aren't patched . How did you make them ?

iso and .dvd files

i have used imgburn and clonecd

in imgburn i just burnt it and changed the layer break settings and in clonecd i clicked on the .dvd file a burnt them. they are ntsc so it is the right region

i opened my 360 and all of the wires are fine for my blaster.

yeah i no i edited it. because i thought it was against the rules but since im not saying where or how i got them it doesn't matter. me typing that isn't illegal. This site is filled with discussions opn illegal shit. hacked firmware is illegal. why dont you complain about that too while your at it.

Check for stealth files in Mulleter

first of what firmware are you using 1.4??
second if you are using 1.4 some games will not load up if they are bad kreon rips
or if they are not stealth so check them with xbox creator for stealth and see if they pass
if not then that is the reason that they don't work

I am currently using xtreme1.2 and a game that passed all of the tests in xbox backup creator.
still doesnt wrk...

seems like there may be a problem with your backup do any others work??
well 1.4 is out so I suggest you upgrade to that for its supposed to be more safer and you can
select the speed you want the hitachi to read 5x 8x 12x what media are you using verbatim?
and what speed are you burning

i tried upgrading after restore to 1.4 and it didnt wrk. i burn at 2.4 speed and i used like 7 discs.
i am getting verbatims for chrismas but i am currently using memorex which i hear suck but still load up.
